It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. DeVan of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James DeVan and Helen DeVan; his wife Marylin Hoffmann; his children, Alan, Dale and Gail Hunter (Marc) of Highland, IL; his grandchildren, Allison and Katie Fix Alexandra Paulson (Aramis Johnson); his siblings, Joan Barghusen Mary DeVan, Glenn (Natalie) and Dan (Kathy); and his siblings' child Countless.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Jim's honor.
