James E. Sommers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Sommers of Belleville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Theodore and Nell Ann; and his brother Daniel Sommers Richard "Nick" Sommers. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Sommers (Melissa) of Fairview Heights, IL and Jamie Graf (Michael) of Lena, IL; his brother-in-law Joel Wilmsmeyer of Crestline, CA; his sisters, Anita Hyde (Bart) and Becky Zelechowski (Larry) of Fairview Heights, IL; and his granddaughter Erica Rogers Zachary Sommers (Sabrina). He is also survived by nieces, nephew and cousins.
