James L. Haukap Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Haukap of Belleville, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Irene. He is survived by: his wife Haukap of Belleville, IL; his daughter Emily Muskopf (Alex) of Belleville, IL; his grandsons, Carter J. Muskopf Brayden A. and Muskopf; and his siblings, Doris R. Kauling of Beckemeyer, IL and John Falcetti (Mary) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by Niece, nephew, great nieces and nephew, uncle, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kurrus Funeral Home (1773 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
