He was predeceased by: his father Joseph (Leora); and his siblings, David Igel and Betty Spring (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Rita Igel; his children, James Igel (Rosa) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Barbara DelVecchio (John) of Belleville, IL, Karen Igel of Belleville, IL and Brad Igel of Hazelwood, MO; his grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron Igel, John, James and Jessica DelVecchio; his stepgrandsons, Arthur Olivares and Randy Olivares; his stepgreat-grandson Isaiah Olivares; and his sister Mary Brown (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
