James Scherbarth Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2023, at the age of 99, James Scherbarth of Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son James E. Scherbarth (Paul Mosley); his sister Alice Thaldorf (Harold); his nephew Thomas Thaldorf; and his aunt Elsa Brugger.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Scherbarth (Carol), Robert Scherbarth (Margaret), Patricia Wade (Terence), David Scherbarth, John Scherbarth (Michelle Wiley) and Anne Marie Scherbarth; his grandchildren, Caroline Manfred (Jack), Terence Wade (Kathryn), Thomas Wade (Stephanie), Joseph Wade (Kathryn), David Scherbarth (Erin), Joshua Scherbarth, Daniel Scherbarth, Cassandra Born and James Born; his great grandchildren, Emmett Manfred, Elizabeth, Claire, Jane Wade, Lincoln, Xavier, Sawyer Wade, McCoy, Maryn Wade and Camryn Roberts; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Lynch (Dianne) and Richard Lynch (Sandra).
