He was predeceased by: his father Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Laura Oughton; his brothers, David Oughton (Marie) and Neal Oughton (Nancie); and his sister-in-law Barbara Pollmann (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
