She was predeceased by: her husband Richard M. Remelius; her father Edwin (Clara); her siblings, Norma Warhoover (Jim), Edna Braswell (Bob), Edwin Jr. Weissert (Betty), Harold Weissert (Verla), Kenneth Weissert (Doris), Paul Weissert and Donald Weissert; and her brother-in-law Fred Trebilcock.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Remelius (Randy), Gary Remelius (Elaine), Jeff Remelius (Shenandoah), Carol Smithpeters (Phillip), Pamela Biehl (Rodney) and Mary Friederich (Glenn); and her sisters, JoAnn Hyatt (Gene), Mary Trebilcock and Margie Madura (Tom). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
