She was predeceased by: her husband Ray E. Barks; her parents, John and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Stella Ratz, Cecelia Kuhlman, Sabina Syzdek and Edward Bihss.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Barks (Doris) of Granite City, IL, Raymond Barks (Patricia) of Belleville, IL and Joan Braxmeier (Terry) of O'Fallon, IL; her grandchildren, Kris Barks (Kathy), Shawn Barks (Stephanie) and Matthew Braxmeier; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kenaz, Kolin, Kyler, Tessa and Tristan Barks. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Henry Catholic Church or to Poor Clare Monastery.
