With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeannie M. Bonkoski of Belleville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Jeannie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Bonkoski; and her parents, Eugene Kirchhoefer and Mary Durnell. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Brian Bonkoski (Crystal) and Rebecca Bonkoski; her aunts, Cathy Colcord of Elkville, IL and Rose Wayer (David) of Elkville, IL; her cousin Terri Ahner (Karl) of Dowell, IL; and her pet Ernie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray costs. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
