He is survived by: his wife Kay M. Schanuel of Swansea, IL; his son Daniel L. Schanuel; his father Lee A. Schanuel of Belleville, IL; his siblings, Lisa Schobert (John Curran) of Hillsboro, MO, Scott Schanuel (Lynette) and Bart Schanuel (Aloha) of Port St; his siblings-in-law, Jan E. Nevois, Dee A. McCarty of Belleville, IL and Rev. F. James "Jim" Friedewald (Meg) of Belleville, IL; and his dog Zoey. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
