It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Goodwin Sr. of Belleville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl O. Goodwin and Anne Goodwin (White); his daughter Melody Goodwin; his grandson James Goodwin; and his brother William Goodwin.

He is survived by: his son Circuit; and his nephews, Michael Goodwin and Gary Goodwin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

Donations in his memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
