He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Ehret and Martha Ehret (Fischer); his brother Edward Ehret; his niece Maria; and his parents-in-law, Albert "Lefty" Dietrich and Genevieve L. Dietrich (Benedict).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ehret; his children, Andrea Thomas (Edward), Ross Ehret (Christina) and Zachary Ehret (Heather); his sister Sandra Flanagan (Jack); his brothers-in-law, Albert "Rich" Dietrich (Ann), Steven Dietrich (Fran), Paul Dietrich and John "Jack" Dietrich (Cindy); his grandchildren, Taylor Ehret, Logan Ehret, Heidi Ehret, Brody Thomas, Jackson Ehret, Henry Ehret, Genevieve Ehret, Addison Ehret, Jett Thomas and Anders Ehret; and his friend George Liverpool. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.
