With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine A Cook of Belleville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael J. (Margaret M. "Peggy"); and her sister Annie Polczynski. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Cook; her children, Michael (Ellie Bradshaw), Jennifer Rowlett (Rob), Megan Burns (Josh) and Bridget Smith (Patrick); her grandchildren, Owen, Ethan Rowlett, Austin, Lily Burns and Lucy Katherine Smith; and her siblings, Kevin Shea (Lori), Tim Shea (Lana), Dennis Shea (Candace) and Noreen Frame (David). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, a great nephew and great nieces, cousins and many friends.
