It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly Jean Hostmeyer of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Dennis L. Hostmeyer; her stepmother Nancy (Hostmeyer); her grandparents, Ottis, Emma Ann "Ditty" Hostmeyer, Edgar and Alta Lemke; her brothers, Brooke Hostmeyer and Phillip Cory; and her former husband Steven M. Richardson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Wombacher (Derrick) and Winter Richardson (Harley) of Freeburg, IL; her granddaughter Chloe Richardson of Freeburg, IL; her siblings, Randy Cory of Granite City, IL, Adrianne Nuckolls (Dale) of Eureka, MO and Rebecca Sullivan (Mike) of Glen Carbon, IL; her brothers-in-law, David Skaggs (Ravy) of Charlotte, NC and Jessie Skaggs (Brittanie) of Benton, IL; her stepfather William "Bill" Whaley of Freeburg, IL; and her mother Rose King. She is also survived by 13 nephews, 5 nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, many cherished friends and co-workers.

In lieu of all other gifts memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses at Moll Funeral Home.
