He was predeceased by : his father Larry H. Hofstetter; his uncles, Norman Wright and Albert Wright; his aunt Marlene Hamm; and his pet Beast.

He is survived by : his mother Carolyn S. Hofstetter; his brothers, Michael Hofstetter (Courtney) and Bruce Hofstetter (Amy); his girlfriend Angela Collins; his aunts, Doris Scharf (Donald) and Patricia Beidle (Dave); his uncle Gene Hofstetter (Lynn); his nieces, Madison Rae Hofstetter and Abigail Rose Hofstetter; and his nephew Jacob Arthur Hofstetter. He is also survived by numerous other nieces/nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
