He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley A. and Adeline; his brother Jim Scheller; and his brother-in-law David Creamer. He is survived by: his wife Joan P.; his children, Lawrence W. Scheller (Kathy), Gary S. Scheller (Rhonda), Barbara A. Hubert (Rich), Dr. Jean M. Sampson (Adam), Susan Denby (Peter), Judy Buerck (John), Jim G. Scheller, Nancy Scheller, Paul Scheller (Julie) and Christy R. Howenstein (Michael); and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Scheller and Shirley Creamer. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church or to Vitas Hospice.
