It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Bevirt of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Bevirt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Shirley Ruth and Hugh Allen Bevirt (Shirley). She is survived by : her sister Nancy S. Kovack (Michael) of Newburgh, IN; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia "Ginnah" Bevirt (Gregory) of Papillion, NE and Robert A. Pierce of Shiloh, IL.. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1706 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, 300 North 60th Street, Belleville, IL 62223.
