It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Zabawa of Belleville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo J. Zabawa; her children, Leo Frederick Zabawa and Barbara Lucille Zabawa; her parents, Francis T. and Anna C.; and her sister Flora Stark Kiddoo.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher F. Zabawa (Lina) of Bethesda, MD and Christine C. Heilig (Greg) of Waterloo, IL; and her grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Heilig (Ian Dahlstrom) and Byron Paul Heilig.

Memorials can be made in the form of masses or to the charity of the donor's choice.
