It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Halfacre (Belleville, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest Halfacre; her son Larry Paul Halfacre; her parents, Elbert and Marguerite; and her siblings, Dorothy Haggard, Paul and Donald Cross.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Halfacre of Lesterville, MO, Laurie Holdener (Eddie) of Smithton, IL and Terri McKee (Sean) of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah Halfacre, Staci Nicks (Dan), Trista Holdener, E. J. Holdener, Seth McKee and Lauren McKee; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Simmons and Remi Nicks. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
