With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Oelrich of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles C. "Chuck" Oelrich; her parents, Adolph (Veronica) and Holdener; her sister Laura Ring; her granddaughter Megan Oelrich; and her close friend Jerry Fehlker.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen M. Hoag (Mark) of Belleville, IL, Jerome A. Oelrich of Collinsville, IL, Ron J. Oelrich (Sue) of York, PA, Kevin M. Oelrich (Gina) of Belleville, IL, Larry C. Oelrich (Nancy) of O'Fallon, IL and Matt J. Oelrich (Angie) of New Baden, IL; her grandchildren, Christina Oelrich, Andrew Oelrich (Janel Plunkard), Stephanie Oelrich, Marie Hisel (Wyatt Driscoll), James Hisel (Lucy Furlong), Monique Hisel, Renae Scott (Bradley), Trent Oelrich (Menique Koos), Jacqueline Oelrich, Madeline Oelrich (Ryan Meddows) and Brandon Oelrich; her great grandchildren, Lucas Oelrich, Ledger and Ryder Oelrich; her stepgrandchildren, Roe Draper (Krista), Cassandra Draper (Kevin Merkel), Kristi Thouvenot (Andy), Tami Wuellner (Alex) and Kyle Poettker; her siblings, Bernice Goodwin of Marysville, CA, Dr. Paul Holdener (Loretta) of Belleville, IL, Margie Dick of Marion, IL and Doris Black (Leonard) of Caseyville, IL; and her close friend Jim Reynolds of Swansea, IL.. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
