With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Guymon of Belleville, Illinois, born in Canton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Smith and Raymond Smith. She is survived by: her husband David Guymon; her children, Erin Huebner (Dirk) of Waterloo, IL and Matthew Guymon (Katie) of Webster Groves, MO; her grandchildren, Jack, Brynn Huebner, Avery and Hayden Guymon; her sister Barbara Almeida of Canton, IL; and her friends, Karol Harris (Don Repovich) of Belleville, IL and Pru Wolf (Steve). She is also survived by nieces, cousins, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) to help fund the research and support programs that will hopefully one day grant us victory over this vicious disease.
