She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Phoebe; her husband Rev. Ed Thurman; her daughter Rachel Wintersmith; and her siblings, Charlene Spurrier, Charles W. Flint and Terry W. Flint.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phoebe Thurman (Elizabeth Hall) of Baltimore, Md. and Leah Flores of Belleville, Ill.; her grandchildren, Olivia, Daniel and Lorena; her siblings, Lindy Sutton (Ron) of Alton, Ill., Cindy Geluso of St. Charles, Mo. and David Flint (Galina) of Seattle, Wash.; her stepsiblings, Kathy Theobald of Phoenix, Ariz., Pat Geluso of S. Car, Weldon Theobald of Texas and Jim Theobald of Calif.; and her sisters-in-law, Gertie Thurman of Florissant and Anne Thurman of Swansea. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
