She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bedell and Marcella Bedell; her brothers-in-law, Fred Wachtel and Michael Mercurio; and her niece Marcy Wachtel.
She is survived by: her children, William Riley III (Meredith) and Thomas Riley Sr. (Margaret); her grandchildren, Finnegan Riley, Thomas Riley Jr., Eloise Riley and Kilian Riley; her sister Ann Bedell Wachtel; her siblings-in-law, Michael Riley (Susan), Joe Riley, Kathy Mercurio and Patti Jo Freeman; and her sibling's children, Jeremy Wachtel, Jeff Wachtel (Tiffani), Mike Riley (Carey), Tim Riley (Samantha), Sean Riley (Jeff), Jennifer McCracken (Ryan) and Ashley Freeman. She is also survived by many cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cathedral (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society Conferences at St. Peter's Cathedral, Belleville and Blessed Sacrament, Belleville.
