He is survived by: his mother Lovell of Belleville, IL; his brother John Scholz of Belleville, IL; his uncles, Karl Sr. Scholz (Peggy) of Springfield, MO and John P. Scholz (Cynthia) of Springfield, MO; his aunt Susan Carnahan (Frank) of Springfield, MO; and his friend Kurt Schutz.
