We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2024, at the age of 97, Maxine Giacomo of Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Shook and Esther Shook (Gass); her husband Wilbert Charles Giacomo; and her siblings, LeeDale Shook, Juanita Obermeier, Billie Morrison and Duane Shook.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Lewis (Roger), Rhonda Baird (Steve) and Joni Schaefer (Donn); her grandchildren, Angela Hester (Ian), Becky Halloran (Jeff), Crystal Jones (Russell), Joey Baird (Holly), Greg Baird (Mallory), Jeff Baird (Michelle), Chad Schaefer (Gayle) and Stephanie Kowaluk; and her niece Mary Ann Hahn (Paul). She is also survived by her family and friends.
