In the vast expanse of eternity, Melvin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melvin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Teresa Lucash; his son Frank David Lucash; his father Frank (Marcella); and his siblings-in-law, George Joergensen and Sandy Lucash.
He is survived by: his daughter Marisa Albers (Roger); his grandson Mateo Albers; and his siblings, Ruth Joergensen and Frank Lucash.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa Catholic Church (1201 Lebanon Ave #4095, Belleville, IL 62221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serra Club of St. Clair County or St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
