She was predeceased by: her father Walter; and her brother Kenneth Schamberger. She is survived by: her husband Michael P. Smith; her children, Brian Smith (Lisa) of Portland, Ore and Nicole Smith of O'Fallon; her grandsons, Alex Smith (Nancee) and Nicholas Smith; her great grandchild Silas; her brother Thomas Schamberger (Karen) of Phoenix; her friend Nancy (Gudinas); and her pets, Emma and Gracie.
Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers or other gifts to either Spencer Pet Rescue or Belleville Area Humane Society.
