He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Rose Fadden; his children, Lisa Dye and Gerald Fadden; his grandson Justin Fadden; his father Elmer "Wayne" (Edna); his sister Sheila Clardie (David); and his brothers-in-law, Joseph and John Shively (Kimmie).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Schaefer (Beau) and Steven Fadden (Amy); his grandchildren, Ashley Fadden, Hannah Evans (Logan), Doug Schaefer (Sara), Josh Dye (Cailyn), Chris Dye, Seth Dye, Charlie Gannon, Grace Gannon and Jack Gannon; his great grandchildren, Ava Fadden, Emma Dye, Aspen Auld, Hayden Mennen, Abigail Martinez, Sjay Coleman, Mia, Chloe Evans, Wesley Schaefer and Anderson Parker; his brother Don Fadden (Edna); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Smith (Chuck) and Bev Shively. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Benedictine Living Community at the Shrine Employee Emergency Fund or the Union Methodist Choir.
