We are sad to announce that, on March 8, 2025, at the age of 90, Nicholas Stevenson of Belleville, Illinois, born in Carlyle, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Matyas; his granddaughter Megan Stevenson; his former wife Charlotte Stevenson; his father Edward (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Edward, Bernice Stevenson Ash, Betty Stevenson Buentgen, Mary Stevenson Linke and Helen Stevenson Schulte.

He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Stevenson; his sons, Nicholas A. Stevenson (Lisa) and Richard A. Stevenson (Mary); his stepchildren, Joseph Roy (Casandra) and Jocelyn M. Roy; his grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Kreiter (Laura), Shenandoah, Isaiah Hechenberger, Jordyn French (Stephen), Sara, Nicholas James Stevenson, Anthony Joseph Roy and Riley Elizabeth Roy; his great grandchildren, Dallas, Dominic and Cameron; and his close friend Dave Winkel.

Memorials may be made to Belleville Area Humane Society, World Bird Sanctuary, or in the form of masses.
