She was predeceased by: her mother Marcella Irene (Ward); and her brother John Edward Dear. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Chastain, Jr. of Belleville, IL; her son Arthur O. Chastain III; her sisters, Barbara Dyer (Swayne Jr.), Fallon and Janice Coppotelli (Greg) of Gladstone, MO; her siblings' children, Amanda Grooms (Matt), Tisha Hampson Alan (David) and Brian Chastain (Hayley); and her brother-in-law Alan Chastain (Giannina).
