He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Elizabeth and Patrick Boyne (Cassie); his granddaughters, Addison and Bethany; his siblings, Mary Catherine Boyne, John Boyne (Mary Ellen), Barbara Kinsella (Tom), Michael Boyne, Margaret Todd (Robert), Celia Schuh (John) and David Boyne (Debby); and his sister-in-law Janice Eiler (Doyle). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Teresa Catholic Church (1201 Lebanon Ave, Belleville, IL 62221).
Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
