He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his parent Roby (Edna); his siblings, Ralph Elsea and Annah Mae Banes; and his pet Ziva.
He is survived by: his children, Kathie Erichsen of Hamburg, Germany Thomas R. Elsea and Kristie Ward (Scott) of Belleville, IL; his grandson Kevin Ward Lainie (Lizzie); his great grandchild Charlie Ward; and his nephew Larry Elsea.
