She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin F. Bietsch; her daughter Donna Bietsch; her father John (Ida); her siblings, Paul Schmidt (Minta), Ray Schmidt (Madelyn), James Schmidt (Faye), John Schmidt, Rita Bien (Gordon), Mary Clement (Milton), Dorothy Schmidt, Catherine Mazzarino (Jerry) and Martha Campbell (Don); and her brother-in-law Russell Bietsch.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Joellenbeck (Norman), Michael Bietsch (Debbie) and Ronald Bietsch (Julie); her grandchildren, Matthew Bietsch (Kati), Andrew Bietsch (Julia), Lori Bietsch Giles (Kyle), Kristin Bietsch (Breana) and Tyler Bietsch; her great grandchildren, Abrielle, Henry, Luke Bietsch, Morgan, Hannah Bietsch, Dash, Brooks Giles, Alexandria and Alvin Bietsch; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Schmidt and Darleen Bietsch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa Catholic Church (1201 Lebanon Ave #4095, Belleville, IL 62221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
