He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin (Vlasta) and Garrett; and his brother Irvin Garrett (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Janet Garrett; his children, Greg Garrett (Angie), Dan Garrett, Mary Garrett, Linda Coleman (Carl Pandolfi), Amy and Diane Rukavina (Val); his grandchildren, Nick Garrett (Christine), Mitchell Garrett (Maria), Heather Garrett, Amanda Bullock (Mark), Michael Rudman (Trinity), Wilke Coleman (Erin), Keller, Heidi Rukavina, Ginger Rukavina, Emily Dyer (John) and Ace Rukavina; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Emmy, Oliver, Redd, Dash, Clark and Rosa.
Memorials may be made to the Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, or in the form of masses.
