It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gellner of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emmelene A. Gellner; his granddaughter Christa Meyer; his parents, Jacob (Mildred) and Gellner-Ostendorf; and his son-in-law Kenneth Wallin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Wallin of Ocala, FL, Sandra Meyer (Jeffery) of Marquez, TX, April Friedman (Morton) of Belleville, IL and Jacqueline Lemmon (Steven) of Millstadt, IL; his grandchildren, Stacey Kays (Ronald) of Collinsville, IL, Kara Zorn (Justin) of Pflugerville, TX, Heather Busch (Jerad) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Shari Brock (Seth) of Hendersonville, TN, Drew Friedman (Ashleigh) of Belleville, IL and Brett Friedman (Jenna) of Belleville, IL; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Yoakum (Patrick), Abbie Gilliland (Tyler), Leyla Scannell, Ariana, Olivia Friedman, Drake, Izek Busch, Knox, Stella Brock, Emmelene and Juliette Zorn; his great great grandchildren, Collin, Camden and Cooper Yoakum; and his sister-in-law Jeanetta Jarrett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
