It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Marks of Belleville, Illinois, born in Geneseo, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Edna; his great grandchildren, Callyn, Cambree and Skylar; and his siblings, Matilda Harvey, Marian Kazimar, Dorothy Kraft, Alexander Marks, Jr., Charles Marks, Ethel Kiehle, Pauline Johns, Peggy Warner and William Marks.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Marks; his children, Robert J. Marks, Jr. (Diana), Robin Marks, Sherrie Haber (Steve), Lisa Vocelka (Chris) and William Poe (Dawn); his grandchildren, Kayla Marks, Nile Marks, Danielle Clark (Bill), Robert Poe III (Lisa), Justin Chamberland, Brooks Boeschen (Sydnie), Dane Vocelka (Dani Jo), Jillian Feldmann (Blake), Drew Vocelka, Chase Poe and Mia Poe; and his great grandchildren, Bryce, Carter, Rhett, Quinn, Henry, Kailynn and Grayson.
Memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church or to BJC Hospice.
