He was predeceased by: his daughter Candace Niehls; and his father William Jr. (Wanda). He is survived by: his brother William "Bill" Schaumleffel III (Karmen); his granddaughters, Beth Niehls and Mary Bray (Austin); his great grandchild Reyna; and his nephews, William Schaumleffel IV (Sharon Severson), Dirk Schaumleffel (Amy) and Nathan Schaumleffel (Missy). He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
