It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Stroud in Belleville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Ann; his son-in-law Joseph A; and his parents, Clarence and Georgia. He is survived by: his wife Diane Stroud; his grandchildren, Mary, Grace, Robbie and Alex; and his sisters, Debra Imm (Ron) of Columbia, IL and Marquietta Blaylock (Elliot) of Highland, IL.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (1201 Lebanon Ave, Belleville, IL 62221). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL or to the American Heart Association.
