It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra L. Girard of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cahoon and Evelyn Cahoon (Onasch); her husband Richard Girard Sr.; and her siblings, Gus "Ray" Cahoon, Ruth Sumnler, Robert Cahoon, Dicy Rosetta Korves, Jerry Cahoon, Marlin Cahoon, Evelyn Marie Carle, Gracy Combs and Carlile Cahoon.

She is survived by: her children, Victoria Douglas (Montgomery) of Belleville, IL and Richard Girard Jr. (Jami) of Shiloh, IL; her grandsons, Brendan and Cameron; and her brothers, Roger Cahoon (Henny) of Perryville, MO and Clifford Cahoon (Karen) of Murphysboro, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
