She was predeceased by: her grandmother Lorraine Andrews; her siblings, Saundra Kirby, LaDonna Edmunds (Charlie), Michael Shobe and Curtis Deal; her aunt Sadie Lewis; and her granddaughter Briona Deal.
She is survived by: her great-nephew Bishop Lamont Edwards; her husband Jimmie L. Edwards; her children, Marcus Deal (Sherrell Gibson) of Cahokia Heights, IL, Keenan Deal of Madison, IL, Brian Deal (Xochitl) of Madison, IL and Vicky; her siblings, Sandy Deal of Edwardsville, IL, Paula Hale of Washington Park, IL, Lorraine Herring of Cape Girardeau, MO, Cedric Deal (Charlotte) and Robert Deal Jr. (Jana); her uncle Kevin Hooks (Adele); and her grandson Gregory Edwards, Jr. (Amanda). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, and many relatives and friends.
