It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherman Brown of Belleville, Illinois, born in Catskill, New York, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest L. and Elizabeth; his sister Marian Carlson; and his grandchildren, Miranda Phillips, Anthony Gantt and Leslie Nichols-Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Shelia Brown; his children, James Phillips (Jennifer) of Belleville, IL, Jeff Brown (Lyndsey Nichols) of Smithton and Jennifer Brown (Archie Brooks) of Belleville, IL; his grandchildren, Alexis Phillips, Gabrielle Prenzel, Angellena Gantt, Jimmy Phillips and Nora Brown; and his sisters, Linda "Lou" Brown, Sarah Mae Brown, Becky Keyes, Nancy Bond and Debbie Keyes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Spring Valley Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
