We are sad to announce that, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 91, Shirley Mae Cox of Belleville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Calvert and Bernice Calvert; her former husband Dick D. Cox; her brothers, Robert Calvert and George Calvert; and her grandchildren, Patrick Joseph Jason Cox and Blair Panzica.

She is survived by: her husband Pentecostal; and her children, Sherryl Sue DeMond (Tom) of O'Fallon, IL, DeWayne Cox of Belleville, IL and Keith Cox (Kim) of Carbondale, IL.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's honor to The O'Fallon Food Pantry, 801 E. State Street, O'Fallon, IL 62269.
