She was predeceased by : her husband Donald C. Taphorn; her parents, Eugene Baechle and Ellanora Baechle; her siblings, Dorothy Stephens (Brook) and Robert Baechle (Nona); and her grandson Benjamin Glaenzer.
She is survived by : her children, Donald C. Taphorn of Belleville, IL, Susan M. Gerler (Mark) of St. Charles, MO, Cynthia L. Glaenzer of Millstadt, IL, Peggy A. Taphorn (Richard Blackwelder) of Sandford, NC and Michael S. Taphorn (Beverly) of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Shauna Henderson (Brad), Timothy Gerler (Julie), Dr. Suzan Dion (Justin), Zachary Gerler (Alexandria), Mickaela Doyle (John), Kathryn Droege (Daniel), Dr. Bryan Glaenzer, Dr. Katelyn Glaenzer, Andrew Taphorn, Matthew Taphorn and Emily Taphorn; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Addie, Luke, Blake Henderson, Leah, Joshua Dion, Henry, Elijah Gerler, Charlotte, Joelle Doyle, Ava and Wesley Droege.
