Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stephen Ache of Belleville, Illinois, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away at the age of 60, on September 20, 2022. He was predeceased by : his mother Kay Pfister Ache; his father-in-law Eugene Sikora; and his brother-in-law Richard Sikora. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Anna, Jack, William and Stephen; his father Pete; his brothers, Peter, Kim and David; his mother-in-law Patricia Sikora; and his siblings-in-law, Gene (Lorrie Sikora), Tom (Kathy Sikora), Ann Marie (Hank Calka), Barbara Sikora and Susan Brisendine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a great-niece and great-nephew.
During the pandemic, Stephen's love to give back to others was very evident and he became heavily involved in serving the Women's Domestic Abuse shelter in Belleville, bringing meals to the women housed there.
