She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bernard Korte; her parents, William (Irene) and Maserang; and her brother William "Bill" Maserang (Rosemary). She is survived by: her children, Laura Newton (Mark), Susan Feltmeyer (Raymond), Sandra Korte and David Korte; her grandchildren, Chrissy Botkin (Tim) and Mindy Feltmeyer (Benjamin Reener); and her great grandchildren, Erin Botkin (Cameron Proffitt) and Ion Tuttle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
