He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Laflen; his children, Brad Laflen and Kristen Webber (Phil); his granddaughters, Nora, Stella and Eva Webber; his siblings, Judy McKenzie, Dennis Laflen (Onna), Cheri Cockrell (Rod) and Peggy Setzer (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Maribeth Laflen, Karen Laflen, Alfred Higgins and Ron Pfau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Siteman Cancer Center, Shiloh, IL.
