It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thailyn J. Brooks (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Kimberly Scott of Belleville, Illinois and Stanley Brooks Jr. (East); her siblings, Thailyer Brooks, Sanaa Brooks, Micah Brooks, Syaire Burns and Anthony Brooks; her son Zachary Riggs, Jr.; her fiancé Zachary Riggs, Sr.; her daughter Zoey Riggs; her grandparents, Felecia Black-Thomas (Angela Brooks) and Leonard Johnson (Joyce); her aunt Sharon Black Michelle Brooks (Danyelle Humphries); her uncles, Kinte Scott (Cherie), Brian Black (Millicent) and Derrell Humphries; and her close friend Micah Gelrich. She is also survived by many cousins, family, and friends.
