He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Borsch and Lucille Borsch; his grandparents, Francis, Phoebe Westwood, Emil and Rosa Borsch; his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Ethel Offermann; and his brothers-in-law, Gary and Eric Offermann.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Borsch (Offermann-Novak) of Shiloh; his sons, Thomas W. Borsch (Jennifer) of O'Fallon and Ryan H. Borsch (Jayne Phillips) of O'Fallon; his stepsons, David Novak of St. Louis, Jeff Novak (Denise) and Chris Novak (Tara) of O'Fallon; his grandchildren, Aiden, Liam Borsch, Riley Worthen (Garrett Hartel) and Andrew Novak; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Offermann (Jennifer), Gale Dias (Steve) and Linda Offermann. He is also survived by his family, as well as the backyard birds.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Book Hotel Walnut Hill Cemetery (1101 Mascoutah Ave, Belleville, IL 62220).
Memorial donations are suggested to BJC Hospice, Washington County Animal Shelter, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
