He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cankar and Edith (Cankar); and his son Brett Cankar. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberlee Poole (Chaz) of Belleville, IL; his daughter-in-law Katie Wintizer of Millstadt, IL; and his granddaughter Vivian Cankar.
