We are sad to announce that, on January 7, 2024, at the age of 93, Vernita Pruehsner of Belleville, Illinois, born in Okawville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Fred Pruehsner; her father Harry W. (Emma); her siblings, Lavera Tepe and Marvin Tepe (Delores); and her brother-in-law Alvin McKerracher.

She is survived by: her children, Darrell Pruehsner (Penny Overby), Juanita Griebel (Rick) and Yvonne Goerger (Mark); her grandchildren, Jennifer Boyer (Greg), Philip Pruehsner (Natalya), Benjamin Griebel (Sally), Kristin Frisella (JR) and Justin Goerger (Rachel Ashley); her great grandchildren, Maleah and Thorton Boyer; her sister LuIna McKerracher; and her friend Arvey Rueter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church towards the Foundation for the Future Fund.
